PHF_fulllogo_black.png

The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) is the home of professional women’s hockey in North America. Established in 2015 as the National Women’s Hockey League, the NWHL rebranded to become the PHF in 2021 and provide opportunities for elite athletes to earn a living playing the game they love while fueling the continued growth of the sport. The league is made up of the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, Metropolitan Riveters, Minnesota Whitecaps, Montreal Force, and the Toronto Six who all compete annually for the Isobel Cup.

The PHF Constitution allows its ownership groups to own multiple teams for a limited period of time.  This accommodation was made to facilitate the transition from a single entity league and ensure that every PHF club had the funding and support it needs to deliver a top shelf experience to its players and fans.  BTM is proud to be associated with each of its clubs.  Every club that is divested over time will be put in the hands of an exceptional ownership group.
